My son is 9 turning 10 years old and weighs about 65lbs and I want to buy him a wakeboard but I’m not sure what size would be best for him to learn on. I found a wakeboard size chart on the internet. Should I buy him a 130cm for weights up to 130lbs or should I buy a smaller one like a 119cm for weights up to 85 lbs? Or, should I buy something in between 119cm – 130cm. He is also about 4′6" tall. Thank you for any advice you can give me!
my daughter is 62 lb and she rides a 124cm. it seems to do well for her. she is 12 yrs old and about 4′ tall. not real aggressive. I’d consider at his age to go with a 130cm because he’s gonna grow fast and then the board will be super easy for him. I started on my husbands board 140cm then bought my own 136cm board–felt like going from an SUV to a sports car!

probably a 125cm that way they can grow into it and it is very easy to ride. I weigh 140 and I can still use it
