    I’ve got a Bayliner 185 XT – 3 litre stern drive… Probably a bit more than $15K…

It has an excellent swim platform on the back and is a super boat.. I know there are plenty of better boats out there but you can drop easily $45K to $60K getting one of those…

Don’t try to retro-fit a fishing boat… They aren’t built to put out the good wake and mostly don’t have a good place to put on your board!

This boat works great – at least until you are thinking of going pro…! One suggestion – get board holders on your tower or you’ll be tripping over your boards all the time..

Finally – I’ll recommend looking at t four fin board (vs the two fins) Four fins are way more stable… Better cut and grab when you are landing!

    Cheers

    Good luck!
