ok i’m not completely fluent in english
i’m trying to buy a wakeboard on internet
they ask me for the Binding Size ???
either S/M (5/9)
M/L(7/11)
L/XL(9/13+)

i don’t understand please help

This would be the size of you feet. Bindings are the boot like attachment that holds you to the board. Like those on a snowboard. If you don’t want to be attached to the board, try a wakeskate. But if you are looking at wakeboards you need bindings in order to ride so find a size compatible with your shoe size. Those sizes are US sizes, look for an xref to compare US shoe sizes if your shoe sizes are not defined by US sizes. Good luck, it is a great sport.

I am planning to buy a wakeboard and I want to ship it from California to Singapore. What is the best way to ship it? What would be the cost?

Thanks!

Any international shipping company will ship a wakeboard for you, it won’t be a problem, they tend to weigh around 7 or 8 kilos and the shipping companies usually have a limit of 30 kilos so a wakeboard is well within the limits. Whovever you buy the board off should arrange shipping for you, I’m sure they’ll have an account with a shipping firm. I’m not sure about the cost from the US but these guys are based in Europe and shipping to Singapore when you buy a wakeboard costs around $80 (US)

Hope this helps. I expect you won’t have any problems though.

Well Its A Hurricane Deck Boat, it has a ski pole, thats about 3 feet off the back. and im pretty good but cant get enough air to do anything really good. Is it me or the boat?

The amount of wake a boat produces is based on its length, width, weight, and draft in the water. I’m not sure what boat you have, but relatively any boat can produce a wake that is a least a little jump-able.

Are you trying to jump or "jump"?

When you wakeboard and your trying to get air, you don’t actually jump when you hit the wake.

To jump move to the outside, toe or heel, whichever you prefer. Carve in hard towards the wake, don’t let up. As you hit the wake, maintain your edge and stand-up hard, not jump. If done correctly, you will pop right off the water.

From there you just need to practice. If your still having trouble and you have a good wakeboard, consider buying some videos and/or look into a training session somewhere to improve your technique.

One other thing to mention, you need a shorter rope than if you would ski unless your boat wake is large. Back at 75-85 there isn’t as much wake especially on a boat that isn’t tailored to produce wake there.

You want to be around 65 feet. Not to mention this will also bring the distance you have to clear, smaller.

I am looking into buying a new wakeboard and am searching for one with the most pop off the wake. i would prefer a hyperlite board over other brands.

this is an excerpt out of a lot of info. follow the link to get it all.

Continuous Rocker (smooth, continuous arch)

A continuous rocker has one smooth fluid, curved shape. Wakeboards with continuous rocker provide fast, smooth rides and allow you to hook up turns more easily. You can generate a lot of speed on a continuous rocker wakeboard. Speed and a very predictable pop (height) when you hit the wake will shoot you farther out into the flats. Continuous rocker wakeboards are great for carving, especially on those glassy-smooth mornings.

3-Stage Rocker (angled with a flat spot)

A wakeboard with a 3-stage rocker features three distinct planes on the bottom of the board, similar to the Styrofoam dish your Taco Del Mar grilled halibut tacos come in. A 3-stage rocker causes your wakeboard to respond with more pop (height) when you hit the wake. However, more rocker is not always better. With a more dramatic rocker a wakeboard has the looser or slippery feel on the water surface. In addtion, the shape causes the board to plow rather than cut through the water, making it slower. Your fins become less effective and you must rely more on edging the wakeboard. Boards with 3-stage rocker have a flat spot which makes the impact of landings intense and gives a slight sluggish feeling after landing.
